"A Woman Who
Loves God"
Mrs. Luerever Pridgen Judd was born May 25, 1949,
to the late Dannie and Luevenia Davis Pridgen, the third of three
children, "Baby Girl." She received her education in the
Bladen and Columbus County School System with advance studies from
Fayetteville State University.
Mrs. Judd met Dr. Judd in the fall of 1989 and they have been together
every since. They were married July 27, 1991, and have overcome
every trial that has tested their marriage. They have two beautiful
daughters, Ms. Shirika L. Soto of Elon College, NC and Ms. Shimika
S. McMillian of the home. On Sunday, February 6, 2005, 6:07 a.m.
God gave them "beauty for ashes" as Little Miss Carrington
Kimora Judd Pridgen was born, giving them their first grandchild.
Five years ago, February 6, 2000, Dr. Judd's father passed, and
five years later, God gave him joy! We are thankful to God for
the blessing He has given us. |

She is truly a First Lady indeed, with a ministry
within herself, as she works right beside her husband. She gives
advice to the women as well as to the men. She is the other set
of eyes and ears, the hands and feet. She knows when no one else
will-she will. Mrs. Judd was quiet and laid back when Dr. Judd
was pastor in the A. M. E. Zion Church; but since their move to
their independence as a Non-Denominational Ministry, Mrs. Judd
has shown herself strong; a woman of great faith and perseverance.
As the devil moved against them with a direct attack, she stood
and said,
"we are in this together and God is going to see us through."
A First Lady is one who knows her place and know
how to handle herself as First Lady. This awesome woman of God does
it very well. Mrs. Judd does not only stand by her man, but works
beside her man. She wants everyone to know, she is not a Co-Pastor,
she is a First Lady, handling the business of the Ministry, while
the man of God stayed in tune with God. She thanks God for all of
the wisdom and knowledge He has entrusted with her. |
